Blows the wind on the moors today and now, where about the graves of the martyrs the whaups are crying
My heart remembers how!
Blows the wind today, and the sun and he rain are flying,
Blows the wind on the moors today and now, where about the graves of the martyrs the whaups are crying
My heart remembers how!
Stark naked as she stood before mine eye,
Not one wen in her body could I spy.
What arms and shoulders did I touch and see,
How apt her breasts were to be pressed by me!
When springtime comes, the sun and showers
Bring out a host of dancing flowers;
And when at night the moon peeps through,
The stars begin to twinkle too;
Soulful songs materialize;-
Ah, love, let us be true
To one another! For the world, which seems
To lie before us like a land of dreams,
So various, so beautiful, so new,
Hath really neither joy, nor love, nor light
